Now, on to the fun stuff!

 

Personally, when out of the office, I enjoy spending my time with my husband and our dogs experiencing the beautiful scenery Las Vegas has to offer. My husband and I relocated from Chicago to Las Vegas just over one year ago and are loving getting to know our new home.

What motivates you to work hard? Aside from providing for myself and my family, working hard in my career also impacts the lives of others. I work extra hard to make sure that the impact I leave on them is a positive one.

 

What is your favorite thing about your career? My favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is being able to meet people from all walks of life and being able to empower them to want more for themselves dentally.

 

What is your biggest complaint about your career? Unfortunately, the economy. Money is the driving force and motivation behind many decisions now. This can be hard when a patient has to choose between desperately needed dental care or paying their rent. It is most upsetting that there are not more resources for adults to receive care.

 

What makes you laugh the most? My pug, Penny, makes me laugh the most. She’s just so stinkin’ cute.

 

What would you sing at karaoke night? At karaoke night, I always sing “It’s Raining Men” by the Weather Girls, and it is always a hit!

 

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Caprese Salad!

 

What is the most daring thing you have ever done? The most daring thing I have done, to date, is go skydiving.

What was your first job? My first ever job was when I was 14 years old. I washed dishes at a fish boil restaurant in Wisconsin.
